My Storybook Factory

My Storybook Factory inspires children to bring their stories to life through literature, music, art, and performing arts. Our Lady’s Playhouse pays tribute to the history of The Riley Center opera house and offers guests the opportunity to perform on stage or be part of the stage crew, moving props and controlling the lights and sound. You may make a puppet and have it perform or enjoy a performance in our puppet theatre. You’ll also find a place to practice your signature and design your own marquee and wallpaper.

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore sets the stage for our library by bringing to life the Academy Award-winning story by William Joyce. In addition to checking out one of your favorite books and reading it in our reading nook, you may dress as a character or enjoy some interactive games. Guests can also view the world of Mr. Morris Lessmore in a lifelike replica of the scene.
