2020 Winter Camp Themes
Experiment with all three states of matter with us on Engineering Day! Campers will hypothesize what will sink or float, what will happen during a chemical change, does size change rates of speed and so much more.
Wacky Winter STEAM Day
Do you think science is cool? Then MCM’s Silly STEAM Camp is for you! In this camp, we’ll explore some physical and chemical change phenomena, get a little messy, as well as answer a variety of the questions we so often wonder about. If designing paper circuits and creating new polymers sounds fun to you, you should plan to join us for this week-long summer camp program.
Play All Day
Play All Day camp will have some classic toys and games and easy STEM projects to keep you guessing at what might happen next. Campers will need to be ready to move, wiggle, and dance during this unplugged day at MCM.
Earth and Space Day
Do you ever wonder if stars move or if just how far away certain planets are? Then this day is just for you! Campers will map the stars, explore black holes, rotate and revolve like the moon around earth. The fun will be out of this world!
Arts and Crafts Day
We will explore textiles, patterns, and some seasonal celebrations on this hands-on colorful day. Arts and Crafts Day is a chance to get a little messy while getting the creative brain waves going.
In My Backyard Day
Things in the dirt, which way is the window blowing, and why is hard to grow strawberries in December are all ideas addressed at In my Backyard Day. Young Environmentalists will end the year on a hands-on science themed day.
