  • July 26-30, 2021 – Camp Backyard

Our camp day runs from 7:30am to 5:00pm, and is appropriate for children ages 5-10 years old. If you have specific questions about day camps as a whole or a specific day, please email Director of Museum Experiences, Patti Reiss, at patti@mcm.ms

Included in camp fees:

  • Supplies for activities and experiment
  • Standard daily museum admission
    and programs
  • Morning and afternoon snacks

Camper Rate: $225 ($202.50 with Member’s 10% Discount)

Camper Rate with Lunch: $250 ($225 with Member’s 10% Discount)

Lunch is not provided in standard tuition costs. Brown bag lunches are welcome!


(Optional) Add daily lunch fees to your registration. Your total cost with the lunch fee:

Non-Members: $250
Members: $225
Or, lunch can be purchased daily for $5.35

*MCM will follow all recommended guidelines provided by our state and federal officials regarding cleaning and attendance numbers.

Super STEAM Camp

Silly Steam Camp Icon

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics activities are completed through a variety of ideas. Why does crayon wax resist watercolors and why do some foods float and others sink?  Come prepared to test the limits of objects and show some creativity in our fun five-day camp.

Daily Camp Overview

Campers may arrive as early as 7:30 am and stay until 5:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy for Camp:

  • Cancellation requests made 2 weeks before the scheduled camp’s start date will result in a full refund
  • Cancellation requests made less than 2 weeks before the scheduled camp’s start date may result in a refund on a case-by-case basis with documentation.
