Journey to the North Pole

The Ultimate Holiday Exhibit • November 26 – January 5

Drawing inspiration from lessons in navigation and geography, along with traditional holiday literature, Journey to the North Pole (JNP) transforms the Gertrude C. Ford Exhibition Hall’s 1,800 square feet of space into a magical winter village of twinkling lights and train cars. JNP is Mississippi Children’s Museum’s exclusive holiday experience, with some great new additions this year. We are excited to add an interactive clock tower slide with a gear wall, and a child-size post office equipped with a package sorting station and conveyor belt for guests to sort and ship packages.  We will also offer for the first time the Reindeer Rink for sock skating (children MUST bring socks for this experience). These new experiences are being added to our Journey to the North Pole experience which includes a train built for students to create their own journey, our holiday train table with toy trains, letter writing station where students can pen their letter to Santa, our popular Snowflake Slide (students MUST be at least 36” tall for this experience) and Santa’s Stable.  This exhibit is Jackson’s best family annual holiday tradition, great for your child’s holiday party, and the perfect backdrop for your holiday card photo. This program is included with general admission or museum membership.
