Our hours of operation are Tuesday thru Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sundays 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We are open for “Magic Mondays” when there is a school holiday or during the summer.
Membership card(s) can be picked up at our front desk. When you come in for your first visit, we will print your membership card(s) for you. Membership cards are not automatically mailed because in many instances memberships are gifted to others as a surprise. If you, the purchaser, wish for us to mail card(s), please inform the front desk and provide a mailing address.
A babysitter may bring your child if they are at least 18 years of age. If they are not listed on your membership form, they will have to pay admission fee of $10.00.
Our Splash pad opens the Saturday before Memorial Day and closes on Labor Day. The Splash Pad is open every day MCM is open.
The admission is $10.00 for everyone, ages 1 and up. We also have family memberships which allow unlimited visits for a year. Memberships range in price from $85 for a family of 3 to $205 for a family of nine. Individual family members must be named on the membership application. An additional benefit for MCM members; Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) Reciprocal Benefits provide discounted admission for up to 6 individuals at more than 200 children’s museums nationwide. No, but you are welcome to eat at our Red Rocket Café which has delicious menu options! Guests are welcome to have a picnic with their own food in the park next to our museum.

From I-55 North, take Exit 98-B, Lakeland Drive. At the first light on Lakeland Drive, turn right onto Museum Boulevard. Our museum is ¼ mile down on the left, at 2145 Museum Boulevard. We are next door to the MS Museum of Natural Science.
