Reopening Information:

Our new policies will include:

  • Masks are required by ordinance of the City of Jackson. The museum will have masks available.
  • Members and guests will no longer be required to reserve tickets in advance online, but will instead be able to purchase tickets at the front desk. We will continue to limit occupancy. Play times are 9am-noon and 1-5pm Tuesday-Saturday and 1-6pm on Sunday.
  • Extra staff has been brought in to clean and sanitize all exhibit spaces and props throughout the day in addition to our deep clean and prop switch out from 12-1 Saturday and upon closing each day. Safety of our visitors and staff continues to be our highest priority!

What will MCM do to safely welcome visitors?

  • Limit occupancy
  • Expand cleaning protocols
  • Mask and wellness requirements for museum staff
  • Increase sanitation stations
  • Offer additional outdoor programming

What can you do to help?

  • Stay home if you feel sick
  • Maintain six feet of distance between groups
  • Let us check your temperature
  • Wash your hands regularly
  • Masks are required for all adults by ordinance of the City of Jackson

We are also asking friends of MCM to consider making a donation to our Inspiring Hope campaign to help offset the increased costs of reopening.  Even a small gift allows us to purchase the increased supplies and support the staff necessary for a Safe, Clean, Fun! reopening!
