Throughout the day\, we’ll be offering additional story times and engaging programming designed to educate\, inspire\, and celebrate this important day in American history. \n10:00am – Story Time: Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters\nKick off the day with this beloved tale that highlights themes of kindness and respect. After the story\, children can create their very own origami crown inspired by the book. \n11:00am – Create Your Own Flag\nLearn about the history and symbolism of Juneteenth as we guide guests in designing their own commemorative flags to take home. \n11:30am & 3:30pm – “Read with Me” Juneteenth Editions\nEnjoy stories that reflect on the meaning and importance of Juneteenth during two special “Read with Me” programs. \n  \nPurchase tickets to the museum
