DESCRIPTION:Splash Pad Open\nOur Splash Pad will be open for play May 2 – September 6! \nCome beat the heat on MCM’s Splash Pad this summer! This experience is located on the C Spire plaza in front of the museum\, and is free and open to the public.\nPlease note the Splash Pad hours below… \nHours: May 2 – July 26\nWeather Permitting: \n\n1pm – 6pm: Sunday\n10am – 5pm: Tuesday – Saturday\n10am – 5pm: Magic Mondays in June and July\n\nClosed on Memorial Day \nHours: August 1 – SEPTEMBER 6\nWeather Permitting: \n\n10am – 5pm: Saturday\n1pm – 6pm: Sunday\n\nSplash Pad Rules: \n\nUse of Splash Pad is at your own risk.\nParental or Guardian supervision is required at all times.\nNo glass allowed.\nNo running or pushing down.\nDo not carry mud\, dirt\, or sand onto the Splash Pad.\nNo pets allowed.\nPlease wear appropriate swimwear. Under garments and diapers must be covered.\nSwimwear\, Diaper Covers\, and Splash Pad accessories located inside MCM Trading Post.\nDo not change diapers on the Splash Pad.\nRestrooms are located inside MCM.\n\nPlease remember to bring a towel and dry clothes for entry to the museum. DESCRIPTION:LIFT League: Design camp\n\nYou’re the designer! Join the Lift League to be a part of creating new experiences for MCM. The week will begin with presentations from subject experts in energy\, communication and engineering fields\, followed by fun design challenges to interpret and display key STEAM concepts. Students will work in groups to create and prototype their own exhibit experiences\, learning new skills\, and practice critical thinking and teamwork strategies. The week will end with a presentation of projects at the Mississippi Children’s Museum. \nMorning snack will be provided.
