SUMMARY:Visiting Artist: Richelle Putnam
DESCRIPTION:Visting Artist: Richelle Putman\nMusic Making Session\nJoin us on Sunday\, October 22\, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm for our Visiting Artist: Richelle Putnam! \nThe Sound of Music: In this two-hour artist visit\, Richelle Putnam invites children of all ages to sing along and play an instrument with her\, from the Itsy-Bitsy Spider\, Kum Ba Ya\, and Over the Rainbow to Elvis’s Hound Dog\, Jimmie Rodgers’s Blues Yodel\, and Shel Silverstein’s poetry put to music. She adjusts song selections and interactions to fit multiple ages. \nPurchase tickets to the museum\nThis project is supported in part by funding from the Mississippi Arts Commission\, a state agency\, and the National Endowment for the Arts\, a federal agency. \n \n  \n
