Journey to the North Pole

The ultimate holiday exhibit • Now Open through January 6

Drawing inspiration from lessons in navigation and geography, along with traditional holiday literature, Journey to the North Pole will transform the Gertrude C. Ford Exhibition Hall into a magical winter village of twinkling lights and train cars. Only a few feet from the entrance into the exhibit will also be the Snowflake Slide, a 45-foot tall slide down our center staircase.

Please note that children must be 36″ or taller to ride the Snowflake Slide, but children who do not meet the height requirement can play MCM’s fantastic Bingo to earn a special prize!

Gingerbread House Workshops

Join us for a memorable family holiday experience creating your own gingerbread house. The MCM staff has everything you’ll need to design, create, and decorate a gingerbread house that you can take home and admire all winter long. Workshops begin at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Each house can accommodate up to three people, and registration is $45 for members and $55 for non-members and includes admission to MCM for three people!

• Online registration is now closed for the December 22 Workshop.  If you would like to purchase Gingerbread Workshop admission for this weekend, please contact the Front Desk at 601-981-5469 during museum business hours. Thank you.
