DESCRIPTION:Visting Artist: Jo Patterson\nJoin us on Saturday\, April 4\, for a special experience with our Visiting Artist\, Jo Pattersonl! \nPatterson is a member of the Teaching Artist Guild\, Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi\, and the Louisiana Craft Guild.  She has honed her skills as a Teaching Artist with over 30 years of teaching as a residency artist at various institutes across the United States. She is a Mixed Media artist currently exploring metalsmithing and lapidary arts designing and forging artisan jewelry. Join us for her “Collaborative Earth Day Collage” workshop. \nWorkshop Time:\n\n10:00am – 12:00pm\n\nPurchase tickets to the museum\nThis project is supported in part by funding from the Mississippi Arts Commission\, a state agency\, and the National Endowment for the Arts\, a federal agency.

Guests will enjoy gardening activities\, learn about our tiny insect friends\, create a pair of bunny ears or butterfly wings\, and so much more.
