DESCRIPTION:Spotter’s Adventure Trail & The Den Grand Opening\nJoin us on Saturday\, October 1 for the Grand Opening of Spotter’s Adventure Trail (a museum walking trail) and The Den (an outdoor pavilion) at the LeFleur’s Bluff Education and Tourism Complex (LBC)! \nThis celebration will be held from 10am – 2pm at the LeFleur’s Bluff Complex\, and will feature crafts themed around Spotter the Otter and Friends\, a Scavenger Hunt along Spotter’s Adventure Trail\, live animal demos from MDWFP’s Mississippi Museum of Natural Science\, and more! \nPurchase your Spotter Swag!\nWe will have t-shirts and cups available for purchase in our museum gift shop! Be sure to snag your swag before we sell out!

DESCRIPTION:“World of Worry: Shedding Light on Anxiety in Children”\nWith Gabrielle Banks\, PhD \nJoin us for our “Play. Eat. Learn.” workshop\, on October 18! The Play. Eat. Learn. series was founded through a collaboration between Center for Advancement of Youth and the Junior League of Jackson. This educational learning series is geared towards helping parents and caregivers understand the complex mind of a child.  This program presents a wonderful opportunity for the community to learn more about the pressing issues and needs that children and families face from experts in the field. \n\nThis free educational series is open to the community. \nDinner will be provided (first-come\, first-served).\nChildcare is available for ages 3-10. \nChildren will be allowed to play in the museum with supervision provided by members of the Junior League of Jackson while parents attend the program.\nDinner is from 5:30-6:00 and the presentation is from 6:00-7:15\n\nPlay. Eat. Learn. is sponsored by the Junior League of Jackson and in Partnership with the Center for the Advancement of Youth \n \n \nLearn more about this program
