DESCRIPTION:Splash Pad Open\nOur Splash Pad will be open for play May 2 – September 6! \nCome beat the heat on MCM’s Splash Pad this summer! This experience is located on the C Spire plaza in front of the museum\, and is free and open to the public.\nPlease note the Splash Pad hours below… \nHours: May 2 – July 26\nWeather Permitting: \n\n1pm – 6pm: Sunday\n10am – 5pm: Tuesday – Saturday\n10am – 5pm: Magic Mondays in June and July\n\nClosed on Memorial Day \nHours: August 1 – SEPTEMBER 6\nWeather Permitting: \n\n10am – 5pm: Saturday\n1pm – 6pm: Sunday\n\nSplash Pad Rules: \n\nUse of Splash Pad is at your own risk.\nParental or Guardian supervision is required at all times.\nNo glass allowed.\nNo running or pushing down.\nDo not carry mud\, dirt\, or sand onto the Splash Pad.\nNo pets allowed.\nPlease wear appropriate swimwear. Under garments and diapers must be covered.\nSwimwear\, Diaper Covers\, and Splash Pad accessories located inside MCM Trading Post.\nDo not change diapers on the Splash Pad.\nRestrooms are located inside MCM.\n\nPlease remember to bring a towel and dry clothes for entry to the museum. SUMMARY:LIFT League: Design Camp
DESCRIPTION:LIFT League: Design camp\n\nYou’re the designer! Join the Lift League to be a part of creating new experiences for MCM. The week will begin with presentations from subject experts in energy\, communication and engineering fields\, followed by fun design challenges to interpret and display key STEAM concepts. Students will work in groups to create and prototype their own exhibit experiences\, learning new skills\, and practice critical thinking and teamwork strategies. The week will end with a presentation of projects at the Mississippi Children’s Museum. \nMorning snack will be provided. (If you have a specific allergy question\, please let us know!) \n\nInformation\n\nAge: Rising 4th – 6th Grade Students\nWhen: July 20 – 24\, 2026 | 7:30am – 1:00pm\n\nCost: $157 for Members / $175 for Non-Members\n\n\n\nPICKUP/DROP-OFF\n\nDrop-off is between 7:30am – 8:00am\nPickup between 12:00pm – 1:00pm\nProgram will end at 12:00pm each day\n\nLUNCH (OPTIONAL)\n\nStudents are welcome to stay for lunch hour from 12:00pm – 1:00pm\nStudents may bring or buy lunch from the cafe\n\nREGISTER HERE!

DESCRIPTION:WonderBox Workshop: “Wood”n’t You Like To Build With Me?\n\nYoung makers will dive into a hands-on woodworking experience as they design and build their own custom treasure box. Participants will learn basic construction techniques while assembling and decorating a box perfect for storing special keepsakes. Each builder will leave with a unique handcrafted creation they designed themselves. \n\nInformation\n\nTarget Audience: 8-11 year olds\nWhen: July 20 | 8:30am – 11:00am\n\nCost: $55 for Members / $65 for Non-Members\n\n\n\nAdditional children who want to play in the museum during this workshop? Add “Discounted General Admission” at checkout for each additional guest!
